Château de ThéouleEntertainment and production, at the water's edge.

43°30′ N · 6°56′ EEstérel

Théoule-sur-Mer, at the gateway to the Corniche d'Or

A seventeenth-century soap factory turned château on the Gulf of La Napoule, now a hotel with its own private beach. It has changed character before; for one evening, we help it change again.

Along the water

From the terraces down to the sand.

Château de Théoule is built at the edge of the sea, and an evening here travels towards it: from the gardens and terraces to dinner by the water, and down to the beach. We plan each stage with its own entertainment and production, and the passage between them, so the evening keeps moving.

01 · The gardens

Ceremony

The bay beyond

An intimate ceremony, the bay beyond.

Théoule suits a ceremony that feels personal rather than grand: close family, a small ensemble, the Bay of Cannes behind. We keep the music acoustic or barely amplified, and plan its timing with the hotel around the life of the château.

Entertainment

  • String duo or trio
  • Harp
  • Voice and guitar

Production

  • Discreet sound for the vows
  • Ceremony set-up with your planner and florist

Where · The château's gardens or a terrace above the sea, as agreed with the hotel.

02 · The terraces

Aperitif

Above the Bay of Cannes

The terraces belong to the light over the bay.

On the terraces the view does most of the work. The music should be light enough to talk over and good enough to stop for: a jazz trio, a saxophone with a DJ, or a guitarist moving between groups.

Entertainment

  • Jazz trio
  • Saxophone and DJ
  • Roaming guitarist

Production

  • Sound shaped for an open terrace
  • Lighting that takes over as the sun goes down

Where · The panoramic terraces overlooking the sea.

03 · By the water

Dinner

A long table at dusk

Dinner by the water, lit from within.

With the sea dark beyond the table, the lighting carries the room: warm on faces, low on the tables, and enough on the château to keep it present. The music moves from a singer between courses to a band that brings everyone up for the first dance.

Entertainment

  • Singer or duo between courses
  • Live band for the first dance
  • A performance before dessert

Production

  • Table and architectural lighting
  • Scenic details for the dining space
  • Sound and screens for speeches

Where · The château's dining spaces or a terrace, as agreed with the hotel.

04 · The beach

After-party

The private beach, after dark

Then down to the sand.

Where the hotel agrees the beach for the party, it becomes a dance floor with the bay behind it. We design it as a set: a DJ booth built for the setting, sound tuned for the open air, and lighting that makes the shoreline part of the night.

Entertainment

  • DJ with live saxophone or percussion
  • Show band
  • A Club Coda after-party

Production

  • Dance-floor sound for the open air
  • Bespoke DJ booth and scenic design
  • Lighting for the beach and the shoreline

Where · The private beach overlooking the Bay of Cannes, as agreed with the hotel.

Working with the hotel

A hotel with guests in residence. We plan around them.

Château de Théoule is a working hotel, with a MICHELIN-starred restaurant and guests staying throughout the property. We confirm with the hotel which spaces can be used, when, and with which suppliers, then design the entertainment and production around those arrangements.

  1. 01Spaces, timings and suppliers confirmed with the hotel first
  2. 02Entertainment curated, briefed and scheduled by us
  3. 03Sound, lighting and scenic design, where the hotel permits
  4. 04One running order with your planner and the hotel

From us

  • An evening that travels

Each space has its own scale, from the gardens to the beach. We plan the moves between them so the music never stops for a change of scene.

  • Open air, sea air

Most of an evening here is outdoors by the water. We choose sound, lighting and scenic materials for the open air, and plan for the weather.

  • A hotel's rhythm

Guests in residence and a working restaurant set the château's rhythm. We fit the evening to it, agreed with the hotel in advance.
