Château de TourreauEntertainment and production, along the axis of an eighteenth-century house.
Sarrians, Vaucluse, between Orange and Avignon

An eighteenth-century château in the Vaucluse, laid out on a single line from its lion gate to its southern park. We plan an event here the way the house is built: in order, one space opening onto the next.
The axis
From the gate to the fountain.
Tourreau is built on one line: the lion gate, the cypress avenue, the house, and the gardens and grounds beyond. An event moves the same way, from arrival to the last dance. At each step we pair the entertainment with the production that sets it: what guests hear, and how the place looks while they hear it.
01 · The avenue
Arrival
Through the lion gate
The welcome begins at the gate.

Guests arrive along a straight avenue of cypresses, so the welcome can start before they reach the house. A few musicians at the end of the avenue, and light that draws the eye towards the house as evening falls, set the tone for everything that follows.
Entertainment
- Strings or a brass trio at the house
- An acoustic duo for arrival drinks
Production
- Tree and path lighting along the avenue
- Façade lighting at dusk
Where · The cypress avenue, from the north gate to the house.
02 · The chapel
Ceremony
Consecrated, from 1614
Music sized to a seventeenth-century chapel.
A chapel for seventy asks for intimacy rather than volume. We choose musicians who fill it acoustically, and agree any amplification and every cue with the venue's audio supplier, so the ceremony runs as rehearsed.
Entertainment
- String quartet
- Harp or solo violin
- Voice and piano
Production
- Candlelight and soft architectural light
- Ceremony cues agreed with the venue's audio supplier
Where · The estate's consecrated chapel, for up to 70 guests.
03 · The gardens
Cocktails
French on one side, English on the other
Two gardens, two moods.

The French gardens are formal; the English garden is looser, with streams and bridges. We place musicians to suit the planting, something structured among the parterres and something that wanders in the English garden, and as the light goes the gardens can be lit as carefully as a room.
Entertainment
- Jazz trio among the parterres
- Strolling musicians in the English garden
- Saxophone at sunset
Production
- Garden and fountain lighting
- Scenic bar and lounge elements
Where · The French gardens, the English garden and the fountains.
04 · The grounds
Dinner
Under the open sky
A long table at the heart of the grounds.

Dinner outdoors needs light that holds the table together as the sky darkens, and music that moves with the courses. A roaming band can play from table to table between the speeches, building towards the dance floor.
Entertainment
- Roaming band
- Singer between courses
- Live first dance
Production
- Overhead and table lighting
- Light in the trees around the tables
- One running order with the caterer and the audio supplier
Where · Outdoors in the gardens or the heart of the grounds, for up to 150 guests.
05 · The pool
After-party
Until late
The house steps back. The party takes over.

For the party, the dance floor becomes the centre of the plan. We pair a DJ with live musicians, and design the lighting and DJ presentation around the venue's sound, so the party has its own atmosphere while the château stays in view.
Entertainment
- DJ with live saxophone or percussion
- Show band
- A Club Coda after-party
Production
- Dance-floor lighting
- Bespoke DJ booth and scenic presentation
- Technical coordination with the venue's audio supplier
Where · Around the pool, or wherever the dance floor is set in the grounds.
Working with the venue
Tourreau has its own appointed audio supplier. We work alongside it.
Sound at Château de Tourreau is provided by the venue's appointed supplier, and we don't offer an alternative to it. What we bring is everything around it: the entertainment, the lighting and scenic design, and the coordination that ties them to the venue's sound. Anything that depends on the venue's permission we confirm with the château before it goes into a proposal.

From us
In order, like the house
We plan an event here as a sequence of spaces, so each move, from chapel to gardens to dinner, has its music and its light ready before guests arrive.
Light for an old house
Eighteenth-century stone and old trees reward restraint. We light the architecture and the planting to be seen, not to be noticed.
One technical plan
Entertainment, lighting, scenic elements and the venue's sound sit on one plan, shared with the château, your planner and the caterer.
